Classroom & Multimedia Services (CMS) promotes the effective integration of technology and teaching in classrooms, laboratories, meeting rooms and study areas on campus. They also provide photographic and video production services, and multimedia development support for WesternU faculty and staff. CMS services include the following:

Hours of Operation
Audiovisual technical support is provided to administration, faculty, staff and students Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. For weekend or after-hours requests, we need a minimum of one week notice in order to properly schedule staff and verify the availability of audio visual equipment.
Students requesting multimedia equipment or services must obtain prior authorization from a Faculty member. The college or department head authorizing the multimedia equipment to students assumes liability for equipment used on or off campus and agrees to replace damaged or broken equipment. All of the student requests must go through the Student Affairs Services Department. We process and schedule most requests within 3 business days. The requester will receive confirmation within 24-48 hours after submitting the request.
Note: Same-day requests require CMS approval. If you need immediate assistance for a same day requests, contact Technical Support and a CMS representative will notify you if they are available to handle your request. Please do not contact the CMS staff directly. Keep in mind that requests submitted for same day services are not always guaranteed due to personnel or equipment availability.

Reservations are made by using the online Classroom & Multimedia Request form or by e-mailing email@example.com. Reservations are processed in the order in which they are received. (First-come, first-serve basis). Please allow a minimum of 3 business days to process requests. Audiovisual equipment and AV Technical Support is for Western University business purposes only.
